Chest
Measure all the way around your chest at its widest point, roughly at the level of the nipples. Ensure the measuring tape passes underneath your armpits and over your shoulder blades at the back.
Shirt
Crotch
Measure from the top of the trouser waistband at the front, down your flies and between your legs, to top of the trouser waistband in the rear.
Trousers
Inside Leg
Measure from the lowest part of the crotch of your trouser, along the inside of your leg, down to where you wish the bottom of the trousers to end. This length should allow the bottom of the trousers to rest on the shoe without touching the floor. alternately, if you have a well fitting pair of trousers, you can provide its leg measurement if you wish.
Shoes and Trousers (Not Jeans)
Jacket Length
Measure along the central line from the rear of your jacket. Start from the bottom of the jacket collar, and finish where you would like the bottom of the jacket to lie. The jacket should ideally be just about long enough to completely cover your buttocks. Alternately, you can take the measurement from a well fitting jacket if you wish.

Jacket Waist
Measure around your waist roughly at the level of your navel. This measurement may correspond to either the narrowest or widest point of the waist, depending on the build of your body.
Shirt
Knee
Measure around your knee at its widest point. Make sure your leg is straight to avoid distorting the measurement.
Trousers
Left Sleeve Length
Measure from the tip of your shoulder to the base of your thumb.
Shirt
Neck
Measure all the way around your neck at a the level your shirt collar would sit
Something without a collar
Outside Leg
Measure from the top of the waistband on a pair of trousers, along the side of your leg, down to where yo wish the bottom of the trousers to lie. This length should allow the bottom the trousers to rest on the shoe without touching the floor. Alternately, if you have a well fitting pair of trousers, you can provide its outside leg measurement if you wish.
Shoes and Trousers (Not Jeans)
Right Sleeve Length
Measure from the tip of your shoulder to the base of your thumb.
Shirt
Seat
Wearing a pair of well fitting trousers, measure all the way around your hips and buttocks at their widest point. Make sure you don't have anything in your pockets; otherwise you may get a measurement which is too large.
Trousers (Not Jeans)
Shoulder Width
Measure from the tip of your left shoulder to the tip of your right shoulder.
Shirt
Thigh
Measure around your thigh at the widest point possible, which should be a couple of inches below the crotch. Make sure you don't have anything large in your pockets which might effect the measurement.
Trousers
Trouser Waist
Measure all the way around your waistline, not on but just above the waistband of your trousers. Make sure the measuring tape does not ride over the waistband of your trousers, as this will result in too large a measurement.
